We design and hand-print all of our garments, and hand-make our jewellery and gifts, right here in our colourful studio. Almost everything we sell is designed and printed in Gateshead and is only available from Pop-Up Studio. We don’t supply other retailers, which helps us keep our prices low for our customers. We’re passionate about what we do and love creating things that bring smiles to people’s faces.

Shop Your Way

Shop online and pick up your order the same day at our Gateshead store, or choose to have it shipped if you're located farther away. There are many special items in our shop that you won't see online, so it's always good to browse when you come to pick up an order.

Opening Hours & Visiting Us

We are open 10am to 3pm, Monday to Saturday. If you're coming far, we suggest checking our Facebook Page beforehand to ensure we’ll be there to welcome you! We will share online if we are closed for some reason.

You'll find our shop a few doors up from the Three Tuns Pub on Old Durham Road. You can’t miss us. The shop front is bright turquoise. The address is 102 Sheriffs Highway, Low Fell, Gateshead NE9 5SD. [Google Maps]

Most brands price their products like this: they calculate the cost of making an item, add a profit margin, then sell it wholesale to a stockist. The stockist usually applies a markup of around 2–2.5× before it reaches you. So a product that costs £10 at wholesale often ends up costing £23 or more in a shop.

If we sold through external stockists, that’s the price you’d be paying too. We’ve chosen not to do that.

Instead, we sell directly to you. Cutting out the middle step allows us to keep prices as low as possible without compromising on quality.

When you shop with us, your money goes towards staff wages, materials, utilities, and a very small marketing budget. We also own our shop outright, so we don’t need to factor in rent. You’re not paying for city-centre overheads, large marketing teams, celebrity endorsements, or designs that have been refined by committee until they feel safe and familiar.

Everything you see is designed independently. If our designer gets bored of something, it’s gone for good. That means what’s in the shop stays original, a little bit magical, and only exists as long as we both love it.

Yes, we do. There are a few personalised items we no longer offer (such as photo prints and mugs), but we can now create lots of new things that weren’t possible before. Pop in and chat with us about what you have in mind and we’ll see what we can do.

All our products are guaranteed. Bring it in and we will fix it or replace it. Or if that’s not possible then we will refund you. Customer happiness is the most important thing to us. We are human and mistakes happen so if something isn’t how it should be, tell us! Even if you take your beloved item to a festival and it gets destroyed in a mosh pit. It doesn’t matter, bring it in, we will mend it.

Bring it in! We can print something lush over the hole and it will give it a new life. Prices start at £5 for something small and go up from there.
